Squarespace / How to prevent people from downloading your photos

It is a common thing that photographers and other users find their work all over the internet without getting asked for permission or even see a few bucks for their time and effort they put into something. One way to prevent people to just right click on your image and choose "Save image to...", "Save image as..." or "Add image to Photos..." is to add the following lines of code into your header file of your squarespace account.

<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery
/1.3.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
$(function () {
$(this).bind("contextmenu", function (e) {
 e.preventDefault();
});
});
</script>

If you are using Squarespace you just log-in to your account and and navigate to the following tab:

Settings -> Website -> Advanced -> Code Injection -> Header

This should help to make stealing your images a little bit harder.

Capture One Pro 9 / How to Import Images

Giving back what I received is something I always wanted to do. In the field of photography and video there is so much to learn that every little piece of information can help to grow as an professional artist. I'm very thankful that I could learn a tremendous amount of knowledge from amazing people all around the planet. Therefor, I started my podcast and now I also start my tutorial series. In the next weeks I will launch videos about Capture One Pro to show how I use it in my work as a photographer and how it supports me in my image making process.
